What is our synthetic rattan made of?

Most rattan patio furniture on the market today is actually 'faux rattan', made of resin or PE (also known as Polyethylene). PE is very common in making just about everything. It is light, incredibly durable, heat and water-resistant. PE has also been used in surgeries because of its durability!

By making furniture out of faux rattan, we get the benefits of our outdoor furniture being weather resistant and easy to maintain while still having the look of woven rattan furniture. In fact, you won’t be able to tell the difference between woven rattan and faux rattan until you touch it. Rattan furniture is very light and easy to move around. It can be used indoor, as well, to make your home and patio unique and beautiful.

Woven rattan furniture isn’t weather fast. It needs to be taken indoors or be covered if it rains, and being in direct sunlight will cause the color in woven rattan outdoor furniture to fade. Faux rattan furniture is very easy to maintain. Not only does it clean easily, but the colors won’t fade and the material won’t become brittle with age like woven rattan outdoor furniture. You can also leave it outside in all weather conditions without it deteriorating.

Using faux rattan furniture provides our customers a cost efficient way to have beautiful outdoor furniture. We offer many options for the type of weave you want the rattan to have. We also offer the outdoor furniture in black and brown. This gives us the opportunity to bring you, the customer, a custom look for your outdoor furniture.

How do I change and/or wash the cushion covers?

Step 1: To remove cushion covers, first unzip cover. Then fold cushion foam like a taco. Slide cover over folded cushion to remove. It is preferable to have two people, one to fold the cushion and the other to remove the cover.

Step 2: After cover is removed, re-zip. Then hand wash cover using cold water.

Step 3: It is recommended to hang dry cover. After cover is dry, unzip.

Step 4: To put covers on, have one person fold the cushion foam like a taco and another person slip cover over the foam. To avoid strain on zipper, wait until entire cushion is inside of the cover before releasing the folded foam.

Step 5: Zip cushion closed and enjoy your clean or new cover.

What is the Return Policy?

There are no returns on special order items. For all other items, if you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return the items to us within 14 days of receiving them.  To be accepted for a full refund on any returns, the items must be in new unused condition, in original packaging, and packing materials.

Return shipping is the sole responsibility of the purchaser and we do not arrange or agree to have any items picked up for return. Once you have shipped the item(s) back to us and we have inspected them, you will receive a full refund less any shipping charges (to or from) the delivery address, less the restocking fee.

What do I do if my shipment is damaged?

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
